Arrival & Camera Setup
Nairobi to Samburu
The Arid Special Five
Meet & greet at JKIA, private transfer to Ole Sereni Hotel overlooking Nairobi National Park. Evening welcome briefing and dedicated camera setup.
07:00 drive north skirting Mount Kenya (6 hrs). Check-in and lunch at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge on the Ewaso Nyiro river, followed by our first session from 15:30 to 18:45.
05:30 wake-up, 06:00–10:30 morning drive, midday lodge rest, 15:30–18:45 afternoon drive, 19:30 dinner and image review. We target Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, river leopards, digging elephants, and lions; optional Samburu village visit.
Samburu to Lake Nakuru
Flamingos & Rhinos
Final Drive & Departure
Sunrise shoot, then drive south into the Great Rift Valley (5 hrs). Settle into Sarova Lion Hill Lodge for lunch, opening our afternoon photography along the shoreline at 15:30.
Dawn and late afternoon drives capturing flamingos, pelicans, fish eagles, hyenas stalking the shallows, white and black rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, Baboon Cliff sunsets, and Day 8 group slideshow.
Early morning rhino session in Nakuru's acacia woodlands. We return to Nairobi by road (3 hrs) with scheduled direct transfers to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for evening outbound flights.

All airport transfers, listed accommodation, full board on safari, all national reserve and park fees, private custom photo Land Cruisers with pop-up roof and mounted beanbags, professional guide-driver, in-field photo tuition and evening image reviews, bottled drinking water throughout, and Flying Doctors emergency evacuation cover.
International flights, Kenya electronic travel authorization (eTA), personal medical/travel insurance, alcoholic and bar drinks, gratuities, laundry service, and discretionary Samburu village cultural entrance fee.
Bed & breakfast accommodation perched alongside Nairobi National Park with modern facilities and immediate access from JKIA.
Nights 2–5 · Samburu Serena Safari Lodge
Nights 6–8 · Sarova Lion Hill Lodge
Full board on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro river in Samburu National Reserve, surrounded by doum palms and riverine wildlife.
Full board inside Lake Nakuru National Park, providing panoramic views across the alkaline lake and immediate access to rhino habitat.
